Reflection questions

1. Looking at your final product, what is the strongest area (concerning technical execution) of the piece of work you made? Why?
With this "work" I believe the strongest part of this is the background. its not bland and it actually shows something that people can relate to.

2. What area of your work can be improved on? How?
In my opinion, almost everything can be improved. mostly by using different pictures, the ones that i used are a little to bland. just a small or basic this picture that means kinda little when your looking at it.

3. What was easy about this art activity? Explain.
the easiest part of this activity is laying out the pictures. all you need to do is change the color of them and put them somewhere on the page. finding them is a little harder cause you don't really what to find.

4. What was difficult about this art activity? Explain.
The only hard thing about this is trying to find the pictures. at the start you dont know what to put. For me, it was hard trying to find things cause i couldn't find anything school related or had enough time to do so.

5. What mediums (materials) did you use? What tools in Photoshop/Illustrator did you use?How did you use them? Be specific.

All i used was the layer and the color adjuster. at first I didn't know how to use it but my teacher showed my how to do it.

6. How did you demonstrate the objective (the goal) in this art activity?
The goal of this was to make an album cover of things that we like. For me, it was a little hard to find things that was school appropriate for school. But I managed to find things that I liked that did fit the regulations.

7. If you could do this art activity again, what would you do differently?
If I could do this again, I would use different pictures and make sure it doesnt look like a big mess of pictures thrown onto a screen.

Reflection questions

Artist Reflection

1.      What is the strongest area of your work?

I don't think there is any strong area of my work. I think there is always room for improvement for every piece of work that I will ever make. I just cant see anything strong about any area of any of my work. If anything the strongest area of my work is the color format that I used. It just gives the whole work a kinda spark that just one color will give off.

2.      What area of your work can be improved on? How?

In my mind I think almost everything can be improved. I cant expect that everything I make is always the best that I can do. I need to think that I can always make it better so i can become better in what I do. I cant get better at photoshop if I think that the worst thing I did is the best that I can do. All of this is my opinion, nothing more.

3.      What was easy about this art activity? Explain.

The only thing that was easy in this work was using one letter and sticking with it. Everything else included getting different colors and different art styles. I couldn't think of a "cool" design to do so I just went with something I seen at an art museum.  I'm creative when it comes to somethings but not everything.

4.      What was difficult about this art activity? Explain.

Almost everything was difficult about this. well, besides from picking a letter and sticking with that single letter, it was hard. I say this because after choosing a letter you will have to find a way to put them around the page in a cool design and color it in to make it look better. There is no set way to put the letter or a curtain color that you have to use. Its all up to you and whatever you can think of.

5.      What mediums (materials) did you use? What tools in Photoshop/Illustrator did you use?How did you use them? Be specific.

All I used was the typing tool and the paint brush with the rulers so I can make it as accurate as possible. I used the paint brush to make nine boxes for which the letter "A" will be going into later. By using the photo negative option, I was able to find out the opposite color of each colored box. So from there, every letter was a different color according to the box they was put in.

6.      How did you demonstrate the objective (the goal) in this art activity?

Well the goal was to make a random picture with a single letter and different colors. Seeing what I did it seems like I did exactly what was asked. No more no less. Maybe less.

7.      If you could do this art activity again, what would you do differently?

I would chose another letter and see if I can make it better then what i did already. Like I said already. There is always room for improvement. No matter what it is.
